This event will take place at Boston College, Dublin on 25 October 2016 between 3-5pm. It is aimed at postgraduates and early career researchers working on women’s and gender history. Participants are invited to give a short 3 minute presentation about their research using only 3 slides.

The symposium will be followed by a lecture by Professor Jo Fox (Durham University) on ‘Gender Equality and Historians in UK Higher Education’. This is being convened by the Irish Historical Society at 7pm at the Royal Irish Academy with a response from Professor Jane Ohlmeyer (Trinity College Dublin) to which all are welcome.
